Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician with strong hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of fire fighting and related mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, inspect, test, and repair fire fighting systems and equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of fire pumps, valves, piping, hydrant systems, hose reels, and related equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and identify mechanical faults in fire fighting systems.
- Assist with installation and maintenance of fire water piping and associated mechanical components.
- Conduct pressure testing, functional testing, and system checks as required.
- Read and understand mechanical/shop drawings and installation layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with approved specifications, safety requirements, and applicable UAE standards.
- Attend maintenance calls and breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain proper service records, checklists, and maintenance reports.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians during installation and maintenance activities.
- Follow company HSE procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant UAE experience as a Mechanical Technician.
- Experience in fire fighting systems, fire protection equipment, or MEP maintenance is required.
- Ras Al Khaimah experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with fire pumps, valves, piping, hydrant systems, hose reels, and related equipment.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand fire fighting system layouts.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
- Candidates available in the UAE and ready to join immediately are preferred.
