Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance
- Install electrical wiring, conduits, cable trays, lighting systems, power outlets, switchgear, and control panels.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs promptly.
- Use testing devices such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
- Replace defective components, wiring, and fixtures.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on-site.
- Ensure work is completed according to project timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly.
- Follow UAE electrical safety standards and company HSE policies.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA/SEWA/ADDC regulations where applicable.
- Report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately.
- Use proper PPE and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain maintenance logs and daily work reports.
- Record completed work and material usage.
Education
- Diploma or ITI Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical works within the construction industry.
- UAE/GCC construction experience preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and layouts.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety practices.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in outdoor site conditions.
