Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled QC Engineer – Roads & Highways to ensure that construction and paving activities comply with the required specifications, codes, and standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in quality control on major EU-based infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of roadworks, asphalt, concrete, and civil engineering best practices.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and related documents to ensure quality compliance.
• Conduct inspections and tests on road layers (subgrade, subbase, base course, asphalt, etc.) as per project and EU quality standards.
• Implement quality control plans, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and relevant checklists for road and highway construction activities.
• Monitor material approvals, sampling, and testing processes for aggregates, asphalt, concrete, and other civil materials.
• Raise and track NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure timely close-out through corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and third-party laboratories for quality inspections and approvals.
• Maintain updated records and reports related to inspections, test results, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements during inspections and testing activities.
• Provide technical support and training to site teams on quality-related issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in roads and highways projects.
• Previous work experience in the European Union on large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EU/EN standards (e.g., EN 12697, EN 13108) and QA/QC protocols.
• Proficiency in construction documentation, testing procedures, and quality systems.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems is a plus.
