Job Summary
The Senior QC Engineer / MC Dossier Manager will oversee quality control activities and manage Mechanical Completion (MC) dossiers for a long-term ADNOC project in the UAE. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international quality regulations while leading the compilation, verification, and handover of MC documentation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction, installation, and commissioning activities comply with project quality requirements, codes, and standards (e.g., ADNOC, ISO, ASME, API, ANSI).
• Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to verify compliance with approved procedures and specifications.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Control procedures.
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Maintain QC records and reports for all project phases.

2. Mechanical Completion (MC) Dossier Management

• Lead the preparation, review, and compilation of MC dossiers in line with ADNOC requirements.
• Ensure all MC documentation (checklists, test reports, certifications, as-built drawings) is accurately completed and approved.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to verify system completion and documentation readiness.
• Manage the handover process from construction to commissioning, ensuring all MC deliverables are submitted on schedule.
• Liaise with the client (ADNOC) and stakeholders for dossier approvals and close-out.

3. Project Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to ADNOC CoPs (Codes of Practice) and contractual obligations.
• Track and report QC and MC dossier progress to project management.
• Support punch list clearance and final handover to the operations team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Certifications: AWS/CWI, CSWIP, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years in QC engineering and MC dossier management within oil & gas (preferably ADNOC or Middle East projects).
• Proven expertise in MC dossier compilation, system handover, and SAP-based documentation systems.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of international standards (ASME, API, ISO).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management software, and document control systems.
