Job Summary
The Mech/HVAC Supervisor will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and HVAC systems for a long-term ADNOC project in the UAE. The role ensures compliance with ADNOC standards, safety regulations, and project specifications while leading a team of technicians and coordinating with engineering and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise mechanical and HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
• Assign tasks to technicians and monitor work progress.
• Ensure adherence to ADNOC, UAE, and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, API, ASME).

2. Technical Oversight

• Inspect mechanical systems (pumps, compressors, piping, valves) and HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, ductwork, VRF).
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Review technical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
• Ensure proper installation, commissioning, and testing of systems.

3. Quality & Safety Compliance

• Enforce HSE policies (Permit-to-Work, risk assessments, PPE compliance).
• Conduct safety toolbox talks and incident investigations.
• Ensure quality control inspections and documentation (ITPs, checklists).

4. Maintenance & Reliability

• Implement preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Monitor system performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily progress reports, work schedules, and manpower allocation.
• Document non-conformities and ensure corrective measures.
• Liaise with the planning team for project updates.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC.
• Experience:
• 7+ years in mechanical/HVAC supervision in oil & gas.
• Familiarity with ADNOC COPs, SAP, and MAXIMO.
• Certifications:
• HVAC certification (e.g., EPA, NATE).
• ADNOC HSE certifications (BOSIET, H2S, PTW).

Skills:

• Proficient in HVAC load calculations (HAP, AutoCAD).
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
