Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer for a major oilfield construction project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, analysis, and site supervision, specifically within the oil and gas sector. ARAMCO-approved candidates are highly preferred and will be given priority due to the nature and requirements of the project.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural design, analysis, and review of drawings and calculations in compliance with Saudi ARAMCO standards.
• Supervise and inspect construction activities to ensure structural works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless execution of structural elements.
• Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings related to structural work.
• Conduct site inspections and generate reports highlighting progress, issues, and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards as per ARAMCO and project-specific requirements.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide solutions for structural challenges during the construction phase.
• Support construction planning and sequencing from a structural perspective.
• Liaise with Saudi ARAMCO representatives and attend client inspections as needed.

 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineering license or membership in a recognized engineering body is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering within oilfield or oil & gas construction projects.
• Must be ARAMCO-approved or have prior experience working on ARAMCO projects.
• Strong knowledge of international structural design codes (ACI, AISC, BS, etc.).
• Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with multi-disciplinary teams.

 
Preferred:

• Experience working in remote/desert oilfield environments.
• Knowledge of ARAMCO engineering standards and procedures (SAES, SAEP, SAMSS, etc.).
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
