Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in MEP in the UAE systems for immediate joining. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems within the MEP domain that are aligned with UAE regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Documentation:
- Develop detailed electrical designs and shop drawings for MEP projects, including power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
- Ensure designs comply with DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA, and other UAE authorities' standards.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure project execution aligns with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with MEP teams (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC) to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project timelines and quality.
- Prepare and submit required documents for approvals (e.g., load schedules, cable schedules).
- Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and energy efficiency guidelines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on MEP experience in the UAE.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of UAE authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA).
- Familiarity with energy-efficient solutions and green building standards (LEED certification is a plus).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- UAE Society of Engineers membership preferred.
- Valid UAE driver’s license.
- Currently residing in the UAE and ready for immediate joining.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
