Job Title: Workover Operations Manager

https://youtu.be/XdimKojvZlgSKILLS & CRITICAL TASKS- Provides overall and day-to-day leadership and direction for the location, directly and indirectly through subordinate supervisors.
- Ensures work is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures and according to safety regulations.
- Ensures the quality of services delivered to the client through the application of training programs, quality initiatives and effective management systems.
- Drives the achievement of goals in line with overall region and company goals and strategies.
- Stops work if conditions are unsafe and report concerns immediately.
- Leads HSE & Service Delivery efforts from the front by example and influence and develops a passionate commitment to HSE and Service Quality excellence among crew members in the location.
- Participates in and or leads Root Cause Analysis investigations for HSE and Service Delivery and implements process improvements.
- Contributes to district revenue forecasting, profitability, and capital budget.
- Adheres to all company accounting and business controls to protect the company and its employees.
- Monitors and ensures the ticketing and invoicing processes are executed within the established timeframes.
- Works with Procurement to achieve the best value and cost for business needs.
- Maximizes utilization and deployment of capital equipment.
- Ensures proper staffing and resourcing to achieve safe and profitable delivery of products and services and coordinates, manages and monitors team performance.
- Fosters training and career development of employees.
- Works with the sales department to ensure operational perspectives are maintained with key target customers and supports business development activities.
- Facilitates a culture of constant improvement.
- Works closely with support functions to implement Company processes and standards, and ensures the processes adequately support overall division operations.
- Represents the Company in the community and with government officials.
- Participates in decision-making and long range planning activities.
- Communicates effectively with Management, client and team in the planning, coordination and execution of services.
- Reports to senior management any trends critical to performance including financial performance
- Completes other duties, special assignments and projects as required
QUALIFICATIONS:- 5+ years related experience in oilfield leadership and/or management positions
- Operational expertise and experience in workover rigs, drilling rigs, or other associated oilfield activities
- Strong technical knowledge of workover operations management including facilities, logistics, equipment, including pumps, swivels and lay-down equipment
- Deep knowledge of local customer base and track record of recruiting high-performing workover crews
- Highly safety-conscious and ethical, always mentors, coaches, communicates and manages with professionalism and respect.
